美国立国200周年BILLBOARD荣誉榜(1956-1975)
|
当年，为庆祝美国独立200周年纪念，美国最具权威的音乐与唱片周刊BILLBOARD；於1975年7月4日，发行一份厚达200多页的纪念特刊，其中，最引人注目的，是12页历年来(1956-1975)各排行榜的读者票选排行资料，当然，最吸引读者的就是BEST OF POP SINGLES 200／BEST OF POP ALBUMS 200。
在这份榜单中，很轻易的就可以发现，除了POP还算及格以外，COUNTRY／SOUL／JAZZ；以及相关资讯，在国内市场是如此的贫乏，只是一味的商业导向，让一些爱乐人士，真是无法也无处求精进，就连电视及电台，也只是应景式的弄些流行的东西，凑数填空档而已，也正因此，当时美军电台(ICRT的前身)及余光大哥的青春之歌才会显得如此之珍贵，30年前状况是如此，30年後的今天，网路是发达、方便了，可状况我觉得是更糟了。
如没记错，产生这份资料的方式；是由BILLBOARD列出1956-1975年每周TOP 10的榜单，一部份以成绩计算，一部份由读者票选(各占多少比例忘记了)、可复选(复选数量忘了)，这一下可精彩了，又掀起了一阵腥风血雨的混战，黑人男歌星CHUBBY CHECKER以一首THE TWIST勇夺王座，连续三年入榜，60’-NO.1, 61-NO.2, 62-NO.1；自有其非比寻常的意义，而且屁股扭的比猫王还要厉害，ELVIS PRESLEY也不示弱，硬是挤进十首歌曲，保住KING的头衔，THE BEATLES也抢走九个席次，礼让前辈一席，抒情老牌男歌星BOBBY VINTON居然有四首入榜，真不简单，照理说是越晚推出的歌，越占便宜，记忆犹新嘛，结果是不是这样，读者自己慢慢观察吧。
