08年爆TR财务危机濒临破产拍卖61张珍贵《危险》CD卖工作室房屋偿还欠款所得税等

2007年10月，ebay网上分批出现了由Teddy Riley音乐工作室拍卖的61张1991为《危险》专辑创作的歌曲，包含混音、干音、鼓点、乐队伴奏、不同版本片段等，共11首歌曲，所有这些都是独一无二，非拷贝版。

These CD's were in the care of Teddy Riley, who moved his music operations to Virginia Beach, VA as the now defunct Future Records Recording Studio. When Teddy and the studio ran into financial problems, the CD's came up for auction and were purchased by private individual.

关于Teddy Riley财务问题

2008年2月各网站发布了Teddy Riley深陷严重的财务危机的新闻

Riley前后欠了好几位债权人款项累计有100万美元，然后便出售1991年他在弗吉尼亚海滩买下的录音工作室（Future Records Recording Studio）来偿还债务。这楼就一层，当年价值300万美元，但到了08年这楼就评估到了46万美元，明显不够抵债用。

2008年2月1日法院审理此事，两名律师分别代表两名借钱给Riley的债权人要回欠款，法院同意寻找一名购买者买下工作室。
其中一位债权人律师Richard J. Conrod Sr.认为工作室不需要马上就卖掉，他希望将房屋的出售以商业形式出售，而不要以财产名义售出。“我希望能留住这个标志型工作室，因为它是文化遗产的代表”，Conrod说，“若将它拆除或者用于其他而不再是音乐工作室的话，将是种耻辱。”



2002年，Riley申请过破产保护。2004年IRS(美国国税局)提交100万美元留置权申请，告Riley没有支付所得税。
两年后（2006年），Riley被迫卖掉在弗吉尼亚海滩附近的房子，得到150万美元去支付政府和当地的税款，还有房屋余下的按揭款。

Riley的经济问题还未到此结束。

2007年底国税局又提交留置权申请，要求他支付196,747美元，2008年1月弗吉尼亚州也告他未支付所得税93,684美元。
在2005年，Riley以工作室为抵押，从公平搬迁服务公司（Equitable Relocation Services Inc）借了70万美元，因为他拖欠，ERS将Riley告上法庭并赢得了官司。
此后ERS公司一直尝试收回款项，提交了22封申请，要求扣押Riley的各银行账户和资产，但到08年为止他们只收回了26.1万美元。

情形跟MJ的仓库类似：
“这些录音带是是由TR保管的，GUY团体解散后，他将他的录音室物品搬到了弗吉尼亚海滩，它们随后被送到了仓库里。当仓库的使用人未支付保管费后，这些录音带被拿出来拍卖，于是流到了我们手里。我们100%保证真实性，以前我们也拍过与TR相关的纪念品。”

情形跟MJ的仓库类似，没有任何来源能说明是TR本人在卖录音。

These tapes were in the care of Teddy Riley, who moved his music operations to Virginia Beach, VA after the breakup of the group Guy. They then at some point made their way into storage. When the holder of that storage space failed to pay the fee's, the tapes were put up for auction and as such came into our possession here in our store. We are 100% sure these are authentic and have had Teddy Riley related memorabilia up for auction in the past as well.
