       他谱写过多首慈善歌曲，坚持每去一个地方去医院孤儿院探望，还收养了多个孩子，给他们带去最好的生活和教育。尽管有些同时带给他麻烦，他的爱心还是一如往昔。
     慈善大事记：
     迈克尔·杰克逊于1992年成立了“拯救世界”(“治愈世界”)基金会。
      “拯救世界”基金会与国家橄榄球联盟，Frito Lay，国际青年人基金会，希尔顿/BEST基金会合作，在27届“超级杯”(美国橄榄球联赛)上联合发起了“拯救洛城”运动。
      慈善运动“拯救洛城”为7,000名孩子建立了3,000个指导顾问免疫站，并为超过72,000名青年提供了关于防止滥用药物/毒品的教育。
      “拯救世界”基金会已经为20个国家的许多儿童提供了支持和援助。
      “拯救世界”基金会与“美国爱心”(AmeriCares)基金会联手向饱经战火的萨拉热窝儿童运去了47吨的食品，衣物和药品；与美国“戈尔巴乔夫基金会”合作向乔治亚共和国(位于前苏联高加索南部)运去了60,000剂的疫苗；并且两次联合英国的“圣诞儿童计划”(Operation Christmas Child)组织将从英国儿童处募集到的物品和礼物紧急空运到了波斯尼亚共和国儿童的手中。
      “拯救世界”基金会联同前总统吉米-卡特，特纳广播网，罗纳德-麦克唐纳儿童慈善会，歌手Gladys Knight和乐队TLC一起行动，帮助“亚特兰大计划”运动在一星期内将当地的免疫率从预计的6,000人增加到17,000人，并且建立了一个家庭保健追踪系统。
      “拯救洛城”与“洛杉矶联合学校社区”、加州大学、南加州私立大学、“学习之星”组织，及其它地方性非盈利组织共同在两处地点开展了名为“校区联盟/安适港湾”的活动，为这里超过300名学生们提供了课后众多学习的机会：计算机教育、家庭教师辅导、家庭作业辅导、数学实验室、英语教学(为母语非英语的学生提供)和表演艺术等。


     慈善年表：
     1979年1月，迈克尔·杰克逊捐献了包括《彼得·潘》在内的大量书籍给芝加哥公共图书馆的年轻人部，此举是为响应鼓励青年读书的"随书起舞"计划。
     1981年6月，迈克尔·杰克逊和兄弟们在亚特兰大举行了《Triumph》演唱会，其中的收益的10万美元将捐给“亚特兰大儿童基金会”。当时在亚特兰大爆发了一系列绑架谋杀儿童案，为期数月、人心惶惶。这笔善款将用来抚慰那些心灵受到创伤的孩子们。
     1984年1月，迈克尔·杰克逊在为百事可乐公司拍摄广告时被烧伤。意外发生后，他被送到了加州库尔佛市布洛特曼医疗中心接受治疗。事故原因是烟火喷射方位出现偏差，从而给他的后脑头皮造成面积为手掌大的2.3级烧伤。尽管如此，迈克尔到了医院还是不忘去慰问其他的烧伤病人。后来他还为自己捐资修建的“迈克尔·杰克逊烧伤中心”捐赠了一个用于治疗的高压氧仓。
     1984年4月，迈克尔·杰克逊捐赠了一套19张床位的医疗器材给西奈山纽约医疗中心，该中心是“T.J.玛特尔白血病与癌症研究基金会”的一个下属的机构。
     1984年5月，迈克尔·杰克逊同意把他的歌曲《Beat It》用在不酗酒驾车的全国公益广告中。由于他的卓越贡献，总统罗纳德·里根特邀迈克尔至白宫为他颁发了“特殊贡献大奖”。

MJ是全世界以个人名义加入慈善组织最多的一个人，在他的名下，有31个慈善组织，给全世界的贫穷、智障儿童、无家可归的流浪汉和老人、断肢人员、癌症患者、艾滋患者等等弱势群体带去了帮助和福利。他每年捐款额高达上亿元，比起国内那些捐个几万还要大力宣传的明星来说，他的爱心可谓是在暗地里进行着，没人知道他到底捐了多少钱，他也从来没算过，因为他认为慈善是不能与商业挂钩的。

看着这些文字，看着那温暖得像阳光一般的笑容，听着天使的歌声，让我们如何不去爱这么一个善良又伟大的人，我总觉得迈和一般伟大的人不一样，在我印象中那些伟大的人高高在上理我遥不可及，但是对于迈，我觉得他离我很近，因为他就住在我的心里，无论我再渺小也总觉得迈是不会嫌弃我的，因为迈太善良了，他希望用自己的笑容温暖全世界
