*Diddy’s new Diet Pepsi ad, scheduled to debut during the Super Bowl, features the Diet Pepsi soda can as the next big music superstar. In the 60-second spot, Diddy is looking for new talent to make a hit record and has his sights set on Diet Pepsi. The can’s agent, Jay Mohr, meets with Diddy to make sure his client gets the best deal. Soon, both Diddy and the can are in the studio laying down vocals for the track, “Brown and Bubbly,” which immediately climbs the charts.
*H3Enterprises, Inc. (HTRE) has entered into a multi-faceted agreement with Juelz Santana, which will see the rapper hosting H3's first CyberSports One-on-One Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston. Juelz has also agreed to become a financial partner in H3's flagship HipHopSodaShop on 125th Street in Harlem, as well as in HTRE itself. “We're gonna rip 125th up," said Juelz. "It's great to be able to enjoy all this in my own backyard with my own people. I've hung out with my boy A Butta here since we were little punks and now we're gonna get a chance to actually work together for the good of our own hood.”
*The judge overseeing Michael Jackson’s custody battle had to briefly step down in January after reports of him calling the pop star anti-Semitic. Judge Stephen M. Lachs says his statements were taken out of context and he was simply stating that the media has unfairly labeled Jackson. Judge Lachs wrote, "I pointed out that the news media should realize that his attorney is Jewish, Ms. Rowe's attorney is Jewish, and the Judge whom he selected to hear his case is Jewish. We all laughed at the notion that with these people being chosen by (Jackson), he would be anti-Semitic." According to TMZ.com, Judge Lachs is a retired Los Angeles Superior Court Judge who was temporarily sworn back into service to hear the case in a private office.
