Yoshiki has known Michael and met him several times before. Yoshiki wears a black caster because he of his sprained wrist (which is shown in the clip) and Michael liked the caster. So Yoshiki gave it to Michael. Yoshiki and Michael talked about 30 minutes in the VIP room, discussing on new keboards and so on. This clip also explains Michael's visit to Seibi Gakuen Home, and there is a touching story of Michael. He went to a bathroom there, and when he came out, he saw some children singing in one of the rooms there. Michael started humming Japanese songs, "Sakura" and "Sukiyaki Song (Ue wo muite aruko)", and children sang to his humming. It was a beautiful chorus. The second one: You see see clips of Michael in Seibi Gakuen Home (the fans running after the van, too), going to the Pachinko Parlor, red carpet at the MTV Japan Award, and also entering the shop "bLiSTER." Obviously, in the shop, Michael found T-shirt with his face on (from the Jackson 5) and liked it a lot. The third one: This is the one I explained earlier. Shingo Katori, one of the SMAP members, talks excitedly about meeting Michael in their show. He says that he almost lost any purpose in life now that he saw Michael in person. All other members were over the moon and said to each other that nothing could ever surpass the surprise and joy of meeting and receiving Michael in their show: even the resurrection of the deceased members of the Beatles would not be so exciting.

SMAPxSMAP just started now. First, they are showing various clips from Michael's music videos. From Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Black or White. Now they are showing the previous clip from the show last December, the members are saying that the biggest dream for them is to have Michael in the show. SMAP members all went to Michael's concerts and love Micael so much. They are explaining all the greatest achievements of Michael Jackson. Obviously the staff from SMAPxAMAP visited the hotel on May 30 and asked for Michael's appearance in the show. Quite unexpectedly, Michael's people said that it might be possible for Michael to join the show on the following day. Now the CM break.

SMAP members were rehearsing their new song. None of them knew anything about Michael's visit. At 20:30, June 1, the SMAP staff got the telephone from Michael's people that Michael left the hotel. They were over the top. The SMAP staff in the studio intentionally delayed SMAP's song rehearsal so that Michael would arrive in time for the members to receive Michael there. The staff arranged a kind of "candid camera" situation to make the encounter a total surprise for the SMAP. Michael went to the monitor room and sit at the director's chair to see SMAP rehearsing their song from above. It was just like a dream to watch Michael on Japanese TV like this. He was looking so great. He looked relaxed and happy. The SMAP members were so overwhelmed by Michael's visit that they were almost incomprehensible. They could not properly ask questions, all what they could do was just showing their admiration for the man. Had they been prepared better, they could have asked more constructive questions, perhaps. It is a pity in a way. Still, I could see Michael's beautiful smile, and he was clearly amused by the whole thing. The last thing he said, leaving the studio was, "See you again next time." How touching.
