eviltongue29 English is my weakness.No matter how much efforts I made,I could never form a complete sentence out of what I had acquired,let alone expressed myself.So there was nothing to do but accept the fact that I was behind others in language of English.
But in real life,it can be found almost everywhere:in the interesting place,in hotels,in supermarkets,at banks,even there is a giant sign "WC" on the wall of the public toilet.To make matters worse,English is a subject of moment in syllabus of our study,which annoied me.
A chance came soon----the chance that made me get rid of my fear for English.It came on the Spring Festival in 2005.I received a record of Michael Jackson called "Number ones".Having finished listening to its contents,I liked him immediately.Much to my delight,I became interested in English."Interest is the best of teachers." as the saying goes.My interest in English fired my enthusiasm for it.
"Icon-worship may be harmful to youngsters." It has been said,but to me,it goes a long way in learning English,at least helps me to open a door towards the world of English.
