Michael Sees Musical Highschool and Meets the Cast Backstage
The stars of High School Musical, the über-successful Disney Channel movie, took their show on the road and toured across the U.S. (minus Zac Efron, who was filming Hairspray with John Travolta), finishing up in L.A. at the Staples Center last Monday night. And it seems the cast had a very special surprise visitor during their Vegas stint Sunday.
Michael Jackson, requested to meet the High School brood personally, and even brought his three rarely seen tykes along! I’m told security was superheavy as Michael & Co. entered the building.
“He was taller than expected, really soft-spoken and wore sunglasses the whole time,”
Yep, not only did Mikey do a meet 'n' greet with the stunned cast, he stayed for the show. Evidently, they turned the light box at the Thomas & Mack Center into VIP seating with a canopy to protect the Jackson crew from any curious looky-loo audience members.

Jermaine Jackson to launch an anti-bullying campaign
Washington, Feb 1(ANI): Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine, is to launch an anti-bullying campaign, following his stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Jackson Five star - who finished in second place on the British reality show to winner Shilpa Shetty - was a witness to the alleged racial abuse of the Bollywood babe by a handful of fellow housemates, during his stay at the house.
And now Jermaine is determined to use the experience to educate Britain's youth.
"He'll be touring schools, talking about the issues of bullying," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling gossip site The Scoop.
In other news, a priest in Ballyshannon has used Celebrity Big Brother to reach out to his parishoners at the weekend.
Fr Frank McManus who celebrates mass at St Joseph's Church The Rock in Ballyshannon urged children to follow the example of winner Shilpa Shetty if they want to lead a good life.(ANI) |
