Michael Jackson tells Rio Ferdinand how much he is looking forward to meeting the footballer at one of his live shows in new video footage.

The Manchester United star is seen talking to the King of Pop on the phone in the clip, which was filmed for the online #5 magazine at the end of April - just two months before the music legend died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

"I look forward to meeting you and hopefully you can come to the shows," Jackson tells Rio in the video, which can be seen at rioferdinand.com when it goes live on Thursday.

Rio, who later says he's "shaking" after making the phone call to his childhood hero, replies: "Hopefully I'll see you after and it will be great to talk and stuff.
