这是MJ在1989年BAD巡演几个月之后，刊登在 The World of Michael Jackson 歌迷俱乐部内部刊物上的一封信。
A Message from MICHAEL
亲爱的朋友们，
非常感谢大家在BAD巡演后给我寄来如此鼓舞人心的信件。能够了解你们对专辑和巡演的感受和想法是一件美妙的事情。
来信中最常见的问题：“你现在在做什么？”的答案是：我在放松。巡演真的让人精疲力尽－我们持续了16个月的征途。我的乐队，团队和工作人员，他们都是如此地出色，令我非常钦佩。
目前，我打算休息一段时间，享受我的新家。在乡村生活真的很美好。这里有许多属于我自己的房间，有我的动物们可以锻炼，快乐生活的辽阔空间，还有清澈的空气。
对所有在澳大利亚，日本和欧洲来观看演唱会的歌迷们送上我特别的问候。是你们的激情使舞台更加完美，我为之震撼，激动得不能自己。你们无法想像面对9万人同时喊出自己的名字，这是一种怎样的感觉。
上帝赐予了我能够得到你们欣赏的才能，这让我变得更加谦虚，并且非常感激。所以，我每天都在感谢上帝，感谢他恩赐的礼物。同时我也每天都在感谢你们能够成为我的朋友。

Dear Friends,
Thank you for all the nice letters you sent after the end of the BAD tour.It was nice catching up on your thoughts and feelings about the album and the tour.
And the answer to the most frequent question you ask ("What are you doing ?") is :I'm relaxing.The tour was really exhausting - we were on the road for 16 months, and my band, crew and staff were just fantastic.My hat goes off to all of them.
Right now, I plan to rest and enjoy my new home.It's really nice living in the country.There's plenty of room for me and my animals to exercise and enjoy the wide open spaces and clean air.
A special "hello" to all of you in Europe, Japan and Australia who came to see the concerts there.I was so overwhelmed by the emotion that you projected up to the stage that it almost knocked me down.You can't imagine what it feels like to have 90,000 people shouting your name.
It made me feel so humble and thankful that God has given me this talent that you appreciate.So, I thank God every day for his gift and I thank you every day for being my friend.
