Lawyers for Dr. Arnold Klein are explaining a claim for $48,522.89 that was submitted to Michael Jackson's estate earlier this week.
The lawyers explain that any mention of a "weekend charge" listed in Klein's request was related to an "unscheduled medical treatment." The lawyers write, "In order to provide this teatement, Dr. Klein needed to rent a helicopter in order to be flown in from out of town to provide the services within the required time frame, had his professional staff transported via car service, and had to pay them a premium for working over the weekend. If anything, these charges demonstrate Dr. Klein's dedication to his patients. It should also be noted that Dr. Klein lost money for the weekend treatment."
The statement goes on to say, "Dr. Klein spent a substantial amount of effort to assist Michael Jackson in achieving his fabulous appearance. As anyone can see from viewing 'This Is It,' Michael Jackson looked great, and this was due, in part, to Dr. Klein's skill, hard work and dedication."
The statement also reads that a portion of funds received from the Jackson estate with "be donated to a charity which provides assistance to inner-city children with HIV."
In the papers filed Tuesday, Klein claims that he performed services between March 23, 2009 through June 22, 2009. Jackson passed away unexpectedly on June 25.
The services listed in the court papers include numerous entries with listings such as "I.M. Injection," "Botox Under Eye," "Latisse," "Restylane," "Acne Surgery," and other services and after-hours fees.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael Jackson's two oldest children, is sharing her thoughts on whether "Prince" Michael, Paris and "Blanket" should see 'This Is It,' now in IMAX and conventional theaters.

The highly anticipated film comprised of Jackson's final rehearsal footage grossed an estimated $2.2 million at the domestic box office for its Tuesday night shows, a record for a Tuesday October release, according to Variety.
