(Best Syndication News) Michael Jackson told a friend that he hoped he wouldn’t end up like John Lennon, with regards to him being killed by a deranged fan. His sister La Toya and ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley said Michael Jackson didn’t expect to live to a ripe old age. One friend said he indeed had fears.

Both Joe Jackson and Debbie Rowe are losing respectability in the public eye over the last week. It was reported that Jackson said he was thinking of making the “Jackson Three” in reference to Michaels three children. Debbie Rowe got angry at paparazzi and used an expletive.

Jim Moret, Chief Correspondent for Inside Edition, commented on CNN's “Larry King Live Show” that Joe abused his son Michael. This could be what is bringing Rowe into this custody debate, according to Moret.

Michael Jackson’s Fears
With regards to Michael Jackson’s death, Schaffel said he did have conversations with Michael about that. “I don’t’ want to get into too much of what he said, but I can tell you that one of the fears that Michael had sometimes was: We were in New York City quite a bit working on one of his albums “Invincible”… (Michael said) I don’t want to end up like John Lennon.” He said that his longtime friend has had some scary situations with fans jumping out at him.

(CBS) One person who knew both Michael Jackson and his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, is Stuart Backerman, the star's former adviser and publicist.

After the (journalist) Martin Bashir interview, Debbie came out and said Michael would never harm a child, and that mitigated the Martin Bashir frenzy that occurred at that time."
