Shelter From the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast 大型慈善演唱会将在美国时间9月9日晚上8:00-9:00由六大电视网向95个国家直播 Following in the footprint of the widely successful 9/11 Telethon "America: A Tribute to Heroes," Producer Joel Gallen has gathered some of today's most influential musicians for "Shelter From the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast" to raise funds for those impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. The commercial-free special, which will air tomorrow, September 9th at 8 p.m. on major networks NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, the WB and UPN, will feature Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, U2, Randy Newman, Neil Young, Kanye West, Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart, Dixie Chicks, Paul Simon, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and the Foo Fighters.
