At the MidemNet in Cannes, the start of one of the biggest music fairs in the world. Singer, songwriter, producer and head of marketing of Musicane, Will-I-Am from the Black Eyed Peas (see photo), got a few questions about working together with Michael Jackson. He told the international press the album "will be released this year" and he will help co-produce the album.
Eventhough he did not want to start only talking about the album or Michael Jackson, because he thinks it is up to "Michael Jackson who should start talk about himself and his album", he told that the album contains a complete new style and way of music no one ever heard or done by anyone in the music industry before.
It will put Michael Jackson back "as inventor of great legendary hit music". And Will-I-Am is happy to be part of this new project. "Michael Jackson is working day and night on this great, great record. I heard and see him in the studio and he is creating a masterpiece. A lot of people in the industry are involved or want to be involved. From producers to marketing people. Before the year is over, Michael Jackson is back on top of the charts" Will-I-Am told journalists in Cannes. He declined to talk more about it and should wait till the record will be released.
In the evening he attended with singer Fergie of his band Black Eyed Peas the NRJ Awards at Palais de Festival. |
