对于粉丝,迈克尔杰克逊是歌舞奇才、慈善巨头;而对于朋友(尤其是环绕四周的小朋友),迈克尔更是一个善于激励人心的大师。从成年后面临转型压力时许诺自己要“比所有伟大艺人加在一起更好”,到《颤栗》(Thriller)成为史上销量最高专辑后进一步激励自己要把《真棒》(Bad)卖出“1亿张”,迈克尔总在他的秘密纸条上书写自己的远大抱负和深刻反思。

2017年4月29日,在Gotta Have Rock and Roll网站上举办的新一轮网络拍卖中,由杰克逊家族遗产管理委员会提供的一份书写于励志大师Anthony Robbins的练习册《释放内心力量》(Unleash The Power Within)上的15页纸条再次吸引了全球歌迷的注意,迈克尔在上面写下了对自己和个人成长方面最私密的想法。鉴于谷歌数据显示《释放内心力量》首次发行于1999年,我们基本可以判断这些笔记代表了迈克尔杰克逊在《无敌》“Invincible”时期乃至其后的思想变化。

The quality of my life is the quality of my communication.

1)       What is it your greatest fear?
Fear of not succeeding.
2)       What benefit has this fear given you in the past?
The benefit of learning more about my life + self.
The benefit of asking questions.
3)       Why be free of this fear now?
I want complete control over my emotions, so that I can have success in my career.

When you go into a feeling of certainty, it changes your biological chemistry, you can withstand more heat, more pressure.

3个问题:
1)       你最大的恐惧是什么?
恐惧不能成功。
2)       这种恐惧过去给你带来了什么好处?
让我更了解我的生命和自己。
让我可以问问题。
3)       为什么现在没有这种恐惧?
我想要完全控制我的情绪,这样我就能获得成功。

1)       Comitment [sic] to you to do something that seems to be beyond your present ability or skill.
2)       Make a public commitment [sic] with someone who would love to see you fail.
3)       Congruently act as if you know what your [sic] doing.
4)       Once you committ [sic] to yourself, get a roll [sic] model.

Whatever you want to do in life seek out someone and model who’s the best at that.
