In recent years, Ms. Yu has successfully defended Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. in numerous criminal regulatory compliance matters, throughout many different criminal courts in Southern California. Ms. Yu also has served as co-counsel to actor Robert Blake in a high-profile capital murder case, wherein her law partner, Thomas A. Mesereau, Jr., served as the lead counsel and was successful in obtaining bail for Mr. Blake in a “murder with special circumstances” case – a result legal experts called impossible. Mr. Mesereau was also successful in obtaining a dismissal for Mr. Blake and co-defendant Earle Caldwell of the “conspiracy to murder” charge prior to trial.
